that moves a shelf or storage frame on a guided vertical path, then
returns it to its resting position. There are two types, and the right
one depends on where the cabinet sits:

• Drop-down lifts are mounted inside wall cabinets.
  They lower the shelf and its contents until they sit within
  comfortable reach, then lift the load back flush into the cabinet.
• Pop-up lifts are mounted inside base cabinets or
  islands. They raise concealed storage up and out of the cabinet —
  ideal for hidden bars, appliance garages, and worktop storage that
  stays out of sight until needed.
