Description
Most ceiling lifts put the screen in one place. The FL 65DR puts it wherever you’re sitting.
It folds down from the ceiling, drops to viewing height, then rotates to face the part of the room you’re actually in. Three motions, fully motorized, one command. When you’re done, it retracts and you’re looking at a ceiling panel again.

Three motions, one command
Flip. The screen swings down from flush against the ceiling. No exposed tracks, gears or scissors — the mechanism stays hidden in every position, which is the difference between a concealed ceiling TV lift and a folding bracket bolted to the ceiling face.
Drop. It then travels 73 cm vertically, bringing the screen to seated eye level. This is what a flip alone can’t do in a room with height: the screen lands at the right angle but too high to watch comfortably.
Rotate. Motorized, like the other two. The screen turns to face the seating position you want — the lounge, the island, the table.
Each motion is driven by the same screw mechanism. Nothing here is manual, and nothing is a linkage you’ll be looking at for the next decade.
A configuration nobody else builds
Compare the FL 65DR against the closest products on the market and the gap shows up quickly.
The premium ceiling category splits into two shapes. Drop-down lifts with swivel lower the screen vertically and turn it — but they don’t flip, so they need deep ceiling void. Flip-down lifts with extension fold the screen down and lower it further — but they don’t rotate, so the screen faces one direction forever.
The FL 65DR does all three. Flip for shallow ceilings, drop for height, rotation for a room with more than one place to sit.

When you need rotation
Open-plan rooms with two seating areas. A lounge and a dining table. A living space and a kitchen island. One screen, both positions, neither one compromised.
Rooms that change use. A media room that becomes a meeting room. A living space that becomes a gym at 6am.
Corner or off-axis ceiling positions. Where the only viable void isn’t square to the main seating — the rotation corrects what the structure won’t let you fix.
When you don’t need it. If your room has one seating position and the screen faces it, the FL 100DL gives you the same flip and drop for less, with fewer moving parts and a larger screen ceiling. We’d rather sell you that than have you pay for a motion you’ll never use.

Two questions decide it:
- Is your ceiling high enough that a flip alone leaves the screen above eye level? → you need the drop.
- Do you watch from more than one position? → you need the rotation.

Control and integration
RF remote as standard — it works without line of sight, which matters when the mechanism lives above a ceiling panel. A backup control switch is included for service access.
Because all three motions are motorized, the whole sequence runs from one command. RS232 and dry contact let the FL 65DR join a scene in Control4, Crestron, Savant or any system that speaks either: Movie night drops the screen and turns it to the sofa. Dinner turns it to the table. Nobody touches the hardware.
Before you specify
Measure the ceiling void first. It eliminates models faster than anything else, and it’s the most common reason an install stalls. The depth must be clear of ducting, joists and cable runs.
Weigh the ceiling panel. It travels with the mechanism and counts against the 55 kg alongside the display. Calculate both before you order, not after.
Check the rotation arc, not just the drop. This one is specific to the FL 65DR. The screen sweeps horizontally at viewing height, so the conflicts are at head height — pendant lights, beams, tall shelving — not at ceiling height where you’d think to look.
Plan power and signal before the ceiling closes. Mains and HDMI need to reach the void and travel with the mechanism. Retrofitting after the ceiling is closed is expensive.

A flip-down swings the screen through an arc on a hinge, ending up angled toward the room, and needs only shallow ceiling depth. A drop-down lowers it vertically, needs a deeper void, and the screen arrives vertical. The FL 65DR is a flip-down that also drops.
