Description

A fixed frame projector screen is the choice for a dedicated home theatre or a blackout media room, where image quality matters more than hiding the screen. The fabric is permanently tensioned across a rigid aluminium frame, so the surface stays perfectly flat — no waves, no ripple, no sag — for the sharpest, most uniform picture of any screen type. Tono’s CineFrame range is built in 16:9 from 100″ to 180″, with six surfaces: Matte White (Pure), Matte Gray (Contrast), white and gray acoustically transparent woven (Sonic / Sonic Contrast), an 8K-grade white acoustic (Reference), and an ALR long-throw fabric (Ambient) for rooms with some ambient light. If your room has heavy daylight or you want the screen to disappear when off, see our ALR floor-rising screens or motorised screens instead.

FAQ

What is a fixed frame projector screen? It’s a screen with the fabric permanently stretched and tensioned across a rigid frame that mounts flat to the wall. Because it never rolls up, the surface stays completely flat, giving the most stable, uniform image of any screen type — ideal for a dedicated dark room.

Fixed frame or motorised — which should I choose? Choose fixed frame if you have a dedicated theatre/blackout room and want the best possible image. Choose motorised if the room is multi-purpose and you want the screen to disappear when it’s not in use.

What aspect ratios and sizes are available? CineFrame is built in 16:9 from 100″ up to 180″ (Reference to 150″, Ambient to 133″). See the size table above for viewing dimensions in cm and inches.

Which CineFrame surface should I choose? Matte White (Pure) for a dedicated dark room; Matte Gray (Contrast) for deeper blacks with a little ambient light; the woven Sonic, Sonic Contrast or Reference surfaces when you want speakers behind the screen; and Ambient (ALR) when the room has some daylight and you use a long-throw projector.

Can I get an acoustically transparent fixed frame screen? Yes. The CineFrame Sonic, Sonic Contrast and Reference surfaces are acoustically transparent woven fabrics that let sound pass through, so you can position the centre or LCR speakers directly behind the screen for a true cinema layout.

Do you deliver and install across India? Yes — Tono manufactures in Thane, Maharashtra and ships across India, with installation support.
