TONO – WARRANTY TERMS (CARRY-IN WARRANTY)
1. WARRANTY TYPE
All Tono products are covered under a Carry-In Warranty.
Customers must bring or ship the product to the nearest authorized Tono service center for
inspection and repair. On-site service is not included.
2. WARRANTY DURATION
• Products purchased on or after 1 January 2023:
3 Years Carry-In Warranty
• Products purchased before 1 January 2023:
2 Years Carry-In Warranty
Warranty period is calculated from the date of the original purchase invoice.
3. WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS
• Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
• Motor, mechanism, controller, and electronics as per product specification
• Repair or replacement of defective parts (at Tono’s discretion)
Repair turnaround time varies by model and issue type.
Tono will make every effort to complete repairs at the earliest, but the actual repair duration may depend on the availability of specific parts and workload at the service center.
Delays due to part procurement, import lead time, or supplier constraints are possible and do not qualify for warranty extension or compensation.
4. WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
• Physical damage, mishandling, or improper installation
• Damage caused by electrical surges, short circuits, or improper wiring
• Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or tampering
• Issues arising from non-Tono accessories or third-party automation devices
• Normal wear and tear, noise variations, or cosmetic changes
• Transportation costs to/from the service center
5. SERVICE PROCESS (CARRY-IN)
1. Customer raises a service request with purchase invoice.
2. Customer delivers the product to Tono service center.
3. Tono inspects the unit and informs the customer of warranty eligibility.
4. Repairs are carried out and the product is made available for pickup.
6. IMPORTANT NOTES
• Warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
• Warranty is non-transferable.
• Tono’s decision on warranty claims is final.
