TF 2 Motorized Drawer mechanism
Powered Both Ways — Not Just Soft-Close
The best-known electric drawer system opens the drawer under power but closes it mechanically — the user pushes it, or it soft-closes. That’s fine for a hand at the drawer; it’s useless for a drawer that has to run from an automation scene, a concealed bar, or an accessible kitchen. Tono’s TF 2 motorized drawer is powered in both directions, so a control system — not a hand — can run it.
How It Works
The mechanism drives the drawer out and back under power, triggered by a button, an automation scene, or a control-system command (dry contact / integration).
Where It Fits
Concealed bars, automation scenes, accessible kitchens, and any drawer meant to run hands-free.
Why Tono vs. Blum
Blum’s SERVO-DRIVE powers the open; the close is manual or soft-close. Tono powers both — the requirement whenever a control system, not a hand, runs the drawer.
